ValheimRP (VRP) is the main english roleplaying community for the game Valheim.
Our goal is to have a rich roleplaying community and server similar to like what NoPixel has done for the GTA community.
The idea of role-play is for players to talk, act, and proceed as the character you are playing. This means that any action taken while in-game is taken on behalf of your character. The intent is to create an immersive experience where players can experience stories and situations, as well as create their own, in what is essentially another world.
Players on the VRP server roleplay within a fantasy setting, with each season setting a base of lore for the players to work from. Season 1, Season 2, and Season 3 were set within Valheim's game lore, including the Norse gods, mythologies and creatures. Season 4 was a completely custom fantasy world and lore. Season 5 went back to a more generic medieval setting with the slight twist of the players finding themselves washed up in a mysterious realm, unable to escape.
VRP uses proximity voice-software for in-game, in-character (IC) communications between players (See our set-up guide for mumble proximity voice chat here).

Season 6 is released! Exiled!
- December Update
Applications have closed for now as Season 5 is winding down into the end of days; the end-game event took place, our player stories are now being wrapped up, and we are preparing the server for the next iteration of VRP.
A massive thanks to all our players, we hope you have enjoyed playing in Season 5 as much we have in organizing it.
It is not long now, keep watching the community discord for more updates on the release of Season 6!
- November Update
As it passes the 2000th day of the very first arrival in this land - the realm has become a bustling hive of activities! Mighty towns have grown where only woodland once stood; great beasts have been slain, and the shipwrecked have began to tame these lands from the wild and dangerous ways that they found it - but trouble is never too far away, and any adventurer who dares become complacent will soon face their grisly demise.
